Burger King made history when it launched its meatless Whopper last year. With success in test markets, Burger King looked to recreate this success nationally with one of the largest ad campaigns causing a 44% peak-to-valley increase in five days. Adsure estimates show that July to August back-to-school campaigns running concurrently experienced at least a 15% ROI decrease due to the Impossible Campaign.
